Lisa Fernandez is general manager of the Utah Talons, a role she has held since the AUSL’s first season in 2025. The Talons won the AUSL title in 2025 and again in 2026.
Career Highlights
- Three Olympic gold medals with Team USA (1996, 2000, 2004). Posted a 0.33 ERA at the 1996 Olympics and earned the save in the gold medal game.
- Two-time national champion and four-time First-Team All-American as a UCLA player (1990-93).
- Longtime UCLA associate head coach. The Bruins won five NCAA titles (1999, 2003, 2004, 2010, 2019) with her on staff.
- Hired Cindy Ball-Malone as Talons head coach in March 2026.
2026 Season
The Utah Talons in 2026:
- Finished 16-9, first in the regular season.
- Swept the Chicago Bandits 2-1 and 6-1 at Davis Diamond for the franchise’s second straight AUSL title. Championship recap
