Hannah Flippen is a professional softball infielder and a member of the United States Women’s National Softball Team. A product of the University of Utah, Flippen rewrote the program’s record books during her four-year career with the Utes before becoming a fixture in professional softball. She joined the Utah Talons of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League for the league’s inaugural 2025 season, competing in front of home fans at Dumke Family Softball Stadium.

Career Highlights

Flippen played 219 games at Utah from 2014 to 2017 and finished as the program’s all-time leader in runs, hits, and batting average. She compiled a .390 career average with 33 home runs, 145 RBI, 261 hits, and 197 runs scored. Flippen became the first four-time All-Pac-12 honoree and first three-time All-American in Utah program history. She was the first Ute named Pac-12 Softball Player of the Year in consecutive seasons and the first player in conference history to win both Pac-12 Player of the Year and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in the same season.

Internationally, Flippen has represented the United States Women’s National Softball Team, competing in the 2016 and 2017 World Cup of Softball and earning a silver medal at the 2017 event.
